When we came to GPF 5 months ago, he was willing to help us heal as we had just come out of very hurtful church experience. Each week his family opens their home for worship (this means rearranging furniture and setting up chairs…then the take-down at the end). In addition, his wife would make us a wonderful breakfast each week! He and his 2 daughters are in the midst of grief as their beloved wife/mom recently died. Despite that, he continues to open his home for worship and for fellowship as well as being willing to come alongside the GPF body. He is selfless and truly is the shepherd of the church that God has given him. Our family has been blessed by his love, the hospitality of Pastor Troy, Alyssa, CJ and Nyia. We are grateful for a pastor that has led us through difficult times, who has encouraged us and taken our family under his care as he has committed to do for each member of the GPF flock.

I’m a Northland girl through and through. I grew up in Cloquet and graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a degree in communications. Although I have a confirmed case of wanderlust, with 13 countries under my belt and counting, I always make my way back home.
My life’s pace is seemingly set at 100 mph. I am a married to my wonderful husband, Eli, and we have three girls and two pups. It makes for a crazy yet fulfilling life and definitely gives me LOTS to chat about. I joke that my love language is coffee because, well … it pretty much is! I love getting to live life with you and hear how God is moving in your life and throughout the Northland!
