Please pray for our son. He is an Iraq veteran. When he came home from the war, he shook really badly. We did not know it at the time, but we would later learn his nerves were badly damaged from the constant bombing and shelling.
The doctors did not know how to handle what was happening with him, so they gave him Xanax to calm his nerves. He quickly became an addict. He was sober for many years. Then, he relapsed last year. He is fighting to stay sober now.
Please pray he wins this battle once and for all. Our whole family has suffered greatly because of this. It has been going on since 2009. We are all tired. PTSD affects everyone in a family. Plus, he has three boys that need him. They need their dad.
