My mom had a very difficult upbringing. Her father left when she was young and her mother didn't have it in her to take care of 7 children on her own. They often had no food and were left to fend for themselves. My mom was placed in a Children's Home for some time. While there, she felt safe and didn't have to worry about food. Through all of this, my mom grew up, met and married my dad and raised three girls including myself. My mom didn't have an example on how to raise a family but she sure did a wonderful job with my sisters and I. She was able to give us all that she didn't have growing up and more. My mom is amazing and I am so blessed by her!!
