I’m waking on the bright side Cause the other’s just a waste of time I’ll be a hug and a high five To ease your worried mindLike the Sun over California, I’m always gonna be there for ya Here’s my shoulder, you can count on me, like Church on Sunday morning An umbrella when the rain starts pouring Here’s my shoulder, you can count on meWe all have days We wanna get away When the light goes out and we need a spark Out there in the darkLike the Sun over California I’m always gonna be there for ya Here’s my shoulder, you can count on me, like church on Sunday morning An umbrella when the rain starts pouring Here’s my shoulder, you can count on me See the God who made the heavens Just like the You can count on me |
When we came to GPF 5 months ago, he was willing to help us heal as we had just come out of very hurtful church experience. Each week his family opens their home for worship (this means rearranging furniture and setting up chairs…then the take-down at the end). In addition, his wife would make us a wonderful breakfast each week! He and his 2 daughters are in the midst of grief as their beloved wife/mom recently died. Despite that, he continues to open his home for worship and for fellowship as well as being willing to come alongside the GPF body. He is selfless and truly is the shepherd of the church that God has given him. Our family has been blessed by his love, the hospitality of Pastor Troy, Alyssa, CJ and Nyia. We are grateful for a pastor that has led us through difficult times, who has encouraged us and taken our family under his care as he has committed to do for each member of the GPF flock.
