Troy Turner (Gloria Patri Fellowship)
When we came to GPF 5 months ago, he was willing to help us heal as we had just come out of very hurtful church experience. Each week his family opens their home for worship (this means rearranging furniture and setting up chairs…then the take-down at the end). In addition, his wife would make us a wonderful breakfast each week! He and his 2 daughters are in the midst of grief as their beloved wife/mom recently died. Despite that, he continues to open his home for worship and for fellowship as well as being willing to come alongside the GPF body. He is selfless and truly is the shepherd of the church that God has given him. Our family has been blessed by his love, the hospitality of Pastor Troy, Alyssa, CJ and Nyia. We are grateful for a pastor that has led us through difficult times, who has encouraged us and taken our family under his care as he has committed to do for each member of the GPF flock.
Tanner Howard (Pilgrim Lutheran Church)
He’s such a kind, caring and compassionate pastor. He really makes everybody feel welcome and is willing to try anything to help spread the word of God. He’s always upbeat and makes you want to be there. He includes everybody both young and old.
Dan Stone (Hermantown Community Church)
“I love Dan’s love for God’s word! The fire that burns in him for our Jesus is amazing!”
Dave Hugare (Lakeview Covenant Church)
“Pastor Dave is a caring individual who preaches the Bible in a way that draws you in while at the same time challenges you to grow.”
Matt Larva (New Life Community Church)
“He is very caring and inspiring! Always helping in the community. Very welcoming.”
Tanner Helgeson (Legacy Church-Virginia, MN)
“The way he connects with the kids and youth is like nothing I’ve seen before. the heart and love to teach God’s love to the young people is so real.”
Keith Puglisi & Josh Lewins (New Song Alliance-Grand Rapids)
Both of our pastors are amazing at making people feel welcome and loved. Whether they know you or not. They preach from the Bible and don’t add to it or take anything out of it. They preach the truth and stick to the foundations of the Word. I am so thankful to both of them for what they have brought to my life and the life of my family! Just no way to thank them enough!
Andrew Ward (Arise Church)
Andrew shares the gospel truths, even the hard to hear stuff in a kind and loving way. He’s caring and supportive of his congregation and is there to help when people are in need. I’m so thankful for his leadership and his beautiful family.
Dan Verdegan (Faith United Methodist Church-Superior)
“I’m very grateful for my pastor because he was the one who invited me to check out his service. Said if it wasn’t a fit, he’d even help find us a church. The way he leads our church in helping the homeless especially, has helped me in my own mission to help the homeless. As well as how he interacted with our youth and getting them on the journey with God the correct way. Even including them in his service. My kids are always asking questions about things he said and how it applies to life.”
