The LiveWell 5K Walk/Run/Roll & Celebration is hosted by LiveWell, a holistic mental health initiative of the Pruitt Center for Mindfulness & Well-being. This initiative supports individuals living, working, and attending school in Douglas County and the greater Twin Ports area by developing innovative strategies to address the ongoing mental health crisis.
As part of its #BetterTogether initiative—designed to encourage connection and reduce social isolation—LiveWell is proud to host its second annual 5K. This event promotes mental wellness and community connection in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Event Schedule:
5:00 PM – Guest arrival
6:00 PM – 5K Walk/Run/Roll begins
6:45 PM – Celebration begins:
Food station featuring hotdogs, burgers, and more, catered by ChartWells
Outdoor yard games: Cornhole, Badminton, Kubb, and Bocce
Music and live commentary provided by a DJ
Conversation domes offering space to relax and connect
9:00 PM – Event concludes

Cost: Free
Registration Deadline: August 7, 2025 at 11:59 PM
Timing: This is a fun run and will not be chipped or timed
Inclusivity: The “roll” category welcomes all wheeled devices. Helmets are strongly encouraged for participants using wheeled equipment.
Audience: Open to all community members, including both participants and spectators
