April 17 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
For those looking to expand their vegan recipe collection while engaging in meaningful conversations with like-minded individuals, this group offers the perfect opportunity.
This quarterly vegan potluck highlights a specific ingredient, which is announced on Facebook (see below). Participants are encouraged to bring a main dish, side dish, dessert, or appetizer incorporating the featured ingredient, along with a recipe or ingredient list to share. To minimize waste, attendees are asked to bring their own reusable plates and utensils, though extras will be available if needed.
All dishes must be entirely vegan, meaning they should not contain meat, eggs, dairy, fish, butter, honey, or any derivatives of animal products.
Meetings take place quarterly in the youth room (the “Remedy” room) of Salem Covenant Church, located at 339 North 59th Ave. W in Duluth. Gatherings occur on the third Thursday of January, April, July, and October. Ample parking is available in the lot, and veg-friendly friends are always welcome.
This cooking group is sponsored by Compassionate Action for Animals and strives to provide a welcoming, non-judgmental space. It is open to everyone, regardless of where they are on their vegan journey or their faith background. There is typically plenty of food to share, so those curious about the group are encouraged to stop by and sample the offerings.

Follow the group on Facebook at CAA Duluth Chapter (https://www.facebook.com/groups/636550081294547) to find out the featured ingredient for each gathering.
