Community Partner of the Month: Victory Christian Academy

Why Victory Christian Academy?

Victory Christian Academy in Hibbing exists to glorify God by bringing students to Christ, equipping them with a biblical worldview and encouraging them to pursue academic excellence, while teaming with families and the Church to raise children who walk in the truth.

Truth, faith, and integrity

Victory Christian Academy is a K–12 nondenominational Christian school with a mission to help children grow in truth, faith, and integrity. Victory’s small class sizes offer students the opportunity to grow academically and spiritually with a biblical worldview, ready to impact the world.

Meet Zeb, Kaci, and Violet

For Zeb, VCA has made a huge difference in growing his faith! It’s a place where he has formed life-long friendships that continue to benefit him and his relationship with Jesus Christ. VCA prepared Zeb to approach the world with kindness and respect. He believes the biblical-based teaching prepared him to discern truth from lies in his future studies. The balance of academics and faith equipped Zeb to successfully take on college challenges with hard work and determination.

Kaci’s parents found that the traditional public school system was not a good fit for her. Since giving Kaci a fresh start at VCA, her academic progress has been more than they had ever hoped for. They love that VCA is a safe place for Kaci to learn and ask questions, and they find the flexibility and affordability of VCA to be a welcome surprise. Kaci is happier, more confident, and loving her new school!

As an 8th grader, Violet sometimes felt lost, even hopeless. School was a rough environment; she struggled, trying to find a balance of focusing on schoolwork and, only afterward, finding time for God. Then, Violet’s parents enrolled her at VCA. Violet has made strong connections with teachers and friends and has emerged as an academic, athletic, and social leader in the school. At VCA, Violet is thankful for the freedom to grow academically and in her faith at the same time.

Homeschool Partnership

Many area families enjoy that their homeschoolers can take Core Classes or electives at VCA, a la carte, starting in Middle School. Classes like: Spanish, Art, Music, Gym, Bible, Health, College and Careers, and more.
